Petra Bagust burst on to our TV screens with hit youth show – ICETV in 1996. Petra has enjoyed a stellar broadcasting career over the last 20 years, fronting a wide range of successful series including national and international travel programs, also What’s Really in Our Food? and TVNZ’s Breakfast.
A personal career highlight was launching the opening ceremony of RWC 2011 on the pitch at Eden Park. Petra is known for her honest wit, enthusiasm and ability to connect with anyone.
Petra is married with three beautiful and terribly well behaved children and is currently the Anti-Human Trafficking Ambassador for TEAR Fund NZ.

Fronting a wide range of successful series including national and international travel programs (Time of Your Life and travel.co.nz), Home renovations show – Hot Property and the documentary/information series What’s Really in Our Food? Her last tv outing was hosting TVNZ’s Breakfast program for 2 years.
A versatile talent, Petra has hosted Newstalk ZB’s Sunday night talkback, as well as live events like Christmas in the Park, Fight for Life and The New Zealand Television Awards on multiple occassions.
